Lynn Graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. She studied two years at the University of Nebraska majoring in restaurant management with a minor in food science. She started her culinary career with a job as Assistant Chef for Houlihan’s Restaurant in Monroeville, PA. It was there that she discovered her strong passion for baking and creativity. Soon after, she moved to Toronto, Canada and secured a position as Assistant Pastry Chef at the Original Bakery Café. She trained under a very talented Czechoslovakian Pastry Chef.
After moving back to the United States she took a position as Pastry Chef at the Longboat Key Club, (a four star resort). Here she was fortunate enough to participate in many of the resorts culinary events. She was the guest Pastry Chef at the 1996 Florida Wine Fest.
She joined Epicurean Life in September 1999 as the Executive Pastry Chef. It is here that she truly enjoys her passion for retail pastries and the creative opportunities that Morton’s Gourmet Market provides. She manages a staff of four and creates pastries for Fred’s Restaurant, Morton’s Catering and the retail bakery inside Morton’s Gourmet Market.
